Who Are We
Allee Vision Optometry is a locally owned, family run optometric practice and vision center that strives to provide the best patient experience and medical health possible. Drs. Michael, Jennifer, and Jonathan Allee provide comprehensive eye exams for a total and complete view and analysis of every patients vision and overall health. Allee Vision Optometry began as Family Vision Care in 1996 at its currently location of 4722 Western Avenue. Dr. Michael Allee was thrilled to be joined by his daughter Jennifer in 2013 and his son Jonathan in 2019. With the addition of Drs. Jennifer and Jonathan Allee, the practice changed to its current name of Allee Vision Optometry. Allee Vision Optometry is always happy to take a phone call and answer any eye related questions for patients and is happy to schedule an eye exam at any time.
Our Doctors
Dr. Michael Allee
Dr. Michael Allee began practicing in Knoxville in 1983. After attending Louisiana State University, Dr. Allee obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Allee is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Optometric Association. He began his career working with Pearle Vision and Royal Optical. After seven years working commercially, he began his private practice on Western Ave. He has been at his present location since 1996. For over thirty-seven years, Dr. Allee has enjoyed working for the patients of Knoxville. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, exercising, and playing trumpet in the orchestra at First Baptist Concord.
Dr. Jennifer Allee
Dr. Jennifer Allee began practicing in Knoxville in 2013. Dr. Allee obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Allee graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Biochemistry Cellular and Molecular Biology degree in 2009. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Optometric Association. Dr. Allee enjoys traveling as frequently as she can with her husband, Josh, and their golden retriever Mia.
Dr. Jonathan Allee
The newest addition to Allee Vision Optometry, Dr. Jonathan Allee began practicing in Knoxville in 2019. Dr. Allee obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Allee is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Optometric Association. Dr. Allee graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Biochemistry Molecular Biology degree in 2014. Dr. Allee has previously worked at Lenscrafters in Johnson City. He is excited to join the family practice and see new patients. Dr. Allee is married to another optometrist, Dr. Nicole Lamb, bringing one more doctor into the family!
